and transgender businesses and employees. In
step with that commitment is an emphasis on

a matter of policy. Once a year, we honor those companies
that are fostering economic stability in the LGBT community
and ensuring the fair treatment of LGBT employees,
suppliers, consumers and partners. These companies are
Affinity Inc Magazine’s Top Corporations for LGBT Economic
Empowerment.
This year, the selected 100 top corporations established a
multifaceted and obvious commitment to the LGBT community
and value the contributions of LGBT employees, suppliers
and customers. Not only do they ensure LGBT equality
internally, but also go above and beyond to externally sup8

port LGBT equality. Their core values impact the people and
communities they serve.
Empowerment scored 100 on the Human Rights
Campaign Foundation’s recently released 2016 Corporate
Equality Index and have active LGBT employee resource
groups or resources set aside for employees to form an ERG.
All have demonstrated a vigorous dedication to bringing LGBT-owned
businesses into their supply chains and are active
with LGBT business organizations.
These companies have taken significant steps toward enabling
true financial empowerment to help LGBT individuals
